My practice includes:-

CREATIVE DESIGN • PRODUCTION • ART DIRECTION

I like responding instinctively to a brief, then working it out and studying where it came from. Particularly I love posters, print, paint, typography, collage, mark-making, texture, composition and playing with different mediums, creating balanced, well composed and tasteful art & design.

ILLUSTRATION

I like to doodle, mark-make, draw, work fast & loose, sometimes using dip pen & ink and watercolour and other mediums. Using lovely loose illustrations, colour and form with tasteful typography, layout and design. I can also offer digital illustration using Procreate.

PRINTMAKING

I own a Risograph printer — think Lo-Fi comic book style, painterly aesthetic with popping colours. Fun for short poster runs or zines and as a creative tool generally. I also have access to large format printing, giclée printing, screen printing, digital printing, CNC machine, laser cutter and 3D printer.

ART IN THE PUBLIC REALM

I enjoy designing, painting, making and facilitating BIG ART & popping murals — Internal, external walls and shutter murals, installation art, building facades, community projects, workshops, sculpture and hand painted typography. Both analog & digital.

PAINTING

I love to make big, bold expressive marks, layers & textures. Abstracting forms and studies in multiple mediums to incorporate into my work.

MUSIC

I have lived a life as a musician and guitar player in bands for over 20 years. I have a small studio where I like to write, record and make noise; so can offer musical services too. Got a project that needs artwork AND a soundtrack? Hit me up :)
